What’s Your Duvet Flip Series

Exciting Announcement! We are launching a new video series to inspire people. The new LinkedIn series called What’s your duvet flip? which interviews leaders to inspire the next generation to get into employment and how to navigate the world of work. This video series is not about making money or to say look at us. It is about meaningful inspiring conversations for young people to learn from others’ duvet flip so they can get out of bed in the morning and find their own version of their duvet flip and passions in life. We have teamed up with Blue Square (smarter with partners) which has given the opportunity to hire two young people under the ages of 30 who were out of work due to the pandemic to get back into full time work. We have leaders from all different walks of life coming on to this series from Inspiring Young People, CEO’s, Prime Ministers, Secretary of states, millionaires and everyday good hard working people. So why? A little bit about me, Growing up in a single parent household with a mother who was an alcoholic and being from a social mobility background I found it tough growing up. A lot of setbacks and a lot of no’s entering the world of work so this made me decide to do something about it and have committed my twenties to enabling young people to thrive. I have been heartened by the number of business leaders who I’ve spoken to who share the belief in the need to harness the talents of an increasingly young and diverse workforce: a community that has been significantly affected by COVID-19, which has only exacerbated many of the issues they were already confronting, whether that is rising levels of poverty and youth unemployment; isolation and loneliness; or a lack of learning and connection with the world of work.
